The Master Program in Science Psychology is a program intended for undergraduates from various fields of science (multi-entry). Thus it can serve the needs of the community and prospective students from various scientific backgrounds other than psychology so that the contribution to the science and profession of psychology can be more optimal.
The Master Program in Science Psychology at Maranatha Christian University has obtained an operating permit with the issuance of letter number: 2515/D/T/K-IV/2009 from the Ministry of National Education- Directorate General of Higher Education dated June 17, 2009. Currently, the Master Program in Science Psychology has accreditation B, based on the decision issued by BAN-PT dated October 30, 2019 No. 4143/ SK/ BAN-PT/ Akred/ M/X/2019.
The Master Program in Science Psychology focuses on specialization in the fields of Family, Marital and Parenting. Since its establishment, the Master Program in Science Psychology has produced dozens of alumni with M.Si titles who have the authority as psychological scientists who can conduct scientific studies, education and training, as well as provide non-clinical consulting and counseling services in the family field.
Program Studi Magister Psikologi Sains juga menjalin kerjasama dengan berbagai institusi baik dari dalam maupun luar negeri guna mengembangkan suasana akademik pembelajaran di Program Magister Psikologi Sains. Salah satunya adalah kerjasama dengan Lembaga Konseling Keluarga Kreatif (LK3). Kerjasama ini diharapkan menghasilkan lulusan yang bukan saja memiliki kehandalan dalam bidang saintifik namun juga dalam bidang praktek konseling keluarga.

Becoming a Department that excels in producing psychological scientists who have the character of integrity, care for others and excellent competence, to improve the quality of human life as a whole in accordance with the Psychological Code of Ethics based on the love and example of Jesus Christ.
Mission
- Organizing the education of the Professional Psychology Study Program at the Masters level to produce graduates who have character with integrity, care for others and excellent competence in conducting assessments, diagnoses, and psychological interventions for prevention, treatment, and development of the quality of human life as a whole and contextually.
- Produce scientific publications that meet national and international standards in the form of studies and research in the field of psychology that are relevant and contextual to people's lives for the purpose of prevention, treatment, and development of the whole quality of human life.
- Organizing community service which is the application of assessment skills, diagnosis, and psychological intervention, with the aim of improving the quality of human life as a whole and contextually.
- Develop the competence of professional educators and education personnel in the context of providing superior professional psychology education at the master's level.
Goal
- Produce reliable psychological scientists in the field of Family Psychology, so that the results can be applied to phenomena and family issues that exist in society.
- Produce psychological scientists who can seek preventive and promotive efforts against problems that occur in families related to non-clinical problems.
- To produce psychological scientists who can provide non-clinical consulting services in the field of Family Psychology according to the Psychological Code of Ethics.

Matriculation
The matriculation program is an introductory program that must be followed by every student of the Program which is intended to help new students to prepare before starting lectures with the aim of equalizing perceptions, refreshing, adjusting and completing. Matriculation lectures are conducted for 2 weeks before the beginning of semester whose implementation is regulated in separate provisions.
