The Bachelor Program in Accounting provides educational programs to develop the competencies required in the accounting profession, including management accounting, auditing, taxation, and financial accounting competencies.
Management accounting competencies include the ability to design accounting information systems for internal corporate decision making in response to the changing needs of the business world. Auditing competence includes the ability to carry out accounting checks based on audit programs and procedures and to make working papers and accounting audit reports. Tax competence includes skills in calculating and preparing fiscal financial reports, reporting (filling in SPT) and paying taxes owed efficiently through the implementation of tax planning strategies. Financial accounting competence includes the ability to present and disclose financial information prepared in accordance with GAAP.
Academic Activities
The curriculum for this undergraduate program is packaged in the form of a link and match by taking into account the needs of the world of work. The entire curriculum is divided into eight semesters covering the sharpening of intellectual, practical, managerial, and character competencies and skills.
The teaching system juxtaposes practitioners of the business and professional world with academics. Thus, students get a complete source of the knowledge they gain, so that the knowledge they gain is comprehensive and integral, and can be an excellent reference in solving real problems in the business and professional world when they work. In addition, lecturer consulting services are available that are not dependent on time constraints during working hours, thus providing flexibility for students to obtain optimal services to develop themselves and explore their potential.
Learning activities are facilitated with complete practical facilities, in the form of a laboratory, the Maranatha Accounting Clinic, and a Tax Center in collaboration with the Regional Office of the Director General of Taxes, West Java I. Tax Center yang bekerja sama dengan Kanwil Dirjen Pajak Jawa Barat I.

Graduates of the program are prepared to have a career path in the field of financial auditing in government and private institutions and organizations.
