Maranatha Christian University (MCU) Was founded on September 11, 1955 by Perkumpulan Intelegensia Kristen Cabang Bandung (Christian Scientist Fellowship-Bandung Chapter) with the support of Gereja Kristen Indonesia Christian Church) and Gereja Kristen Pasundan (Pasundan Christian Church).
